Please be aware of all STUDIO POLICIES. Failure to comply with our studio policies can lead to dismissal from the studio and refusal of service. These policies are put in place for your safety and the respect of our clients and instructors. Thank you for understanding and adhering to these policies.
*You must register for classes online in advance; we cannot guarantee a spot for walk-ins.
*Anyone aged 18 and older can take classes. If you are under the age of 18 unfortunately, you may not take classes at our studio. This is for insurance liability reasons. We would love to see you when you turn 18!
*All new students must sign a waiver upon entry, which includes that you have read and understand all studio policies.
*Students are required to disclose any ailments, pregnancy, injuries, or pre-existing conditions.
*PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE - The warm up is an important part of class, designed to activate your muscles prior to the class content and to prevent injury. If you are more than 15 minutes late to your scheduled class time we reserve the right to deny participation in class and it will be considered a late cancel, you will lose your class credit and be charged a $10 late cancel fee. We ask that you respect our instructors and other students by showing up on time.
*If you need to leave class early for any reason, please let the instructor know.
*All of our class passes are non-refundable and non-transferable. All passes have strict expiration dates. Make sure you know the expiration date on your pass and that you use all classes before the expiration date. We will not extend your pass.
*We do make changes to the schedule a few times a year. If changes are being made to the schedule you will be given 30 days notice.
*If there are 2 or fewer sign ups in a class, that class will be canceled due to low enrollment. You will be given a minimum of 4 hours notice that your class has been canceled and your class credit will go back into your account for future use.
*Please follow our progression of classes and level system. You must meet all prerequisites for each class before registering for that class. This is designed for your safety. You can find our progression of classes, level system, and prerequisites under the CLASSES tab. If you do not meet the prerequisites for the class that you are registered for you will not be admitted to class.
*We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. As long as you cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled class or waitlist you will not lose that class credit.
*If you do late cancel or if you no show to your scheduled class you will forfeit your class credit and be charged a $10 late fee. If you fail to pay your late cancel fee ,we reserve the right to put your pass on hold until your late fees have been paid. Once your late fee is paid your pass will be reactivated.
*When classes are full you can sign up to be on the waitlist. Frequently people will cancel, making room for those on the waitlist. When a spot opens up in a class and you are added from the waitlist, you will receive an email and/or text message to confirm that you have been added to the class.
*You will receive confirmation that you have been added to the class no later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled class time.
*If the waitlist is full you will be prompted to call.
PHOTO AND VIDEO POLICY
*Taking pictures and filming is allowed and encouraged to help you improve. YOU MUST ONLY FILM YOURSELF. Please respect other students privacy. Filming is only allowed during the last 10 minutes of class or unless the instructor prompts you to do so.
*Recording of instruction is strictly forbidden unless you have permission of the instructor to demonstrate specific content.
*Please do not post any photos or video of other individuals unless you have permission from all individuals in the shot. If you do not have permission we have the right to ask you to take down the photo or video. THIS IS IMMEDIATE GROUNDS FOR DISMISSAL FROM THIS STUDIO as this is a private and safe environment for its students, we take their privacy seriously.
*If you are not a member of class, no recording is permitted.
BEHAVIOR AND ETIQUETTE
*The Brass Ring is place of positivity. Our number one priority is to keep the environment safe and private. RESPECT your fellow students and instructors. We have a zero tolerance policy for inappropriate treatment of others. Such behavior will result in removal from the studio and you will be banned from taking class at The Brass Ring.
*Please leave your phone conversations outside of the studio during class time. This includes text messaging. If it is an emergency please leave the classroom space to have personal conversations.
*Food is not allowed in the classroom space. Food may be stored and eaten in the kitchen.
*No alcohol is allowed to be consumed before any physical activities at the studio. If you are intoxicated in any way when arriving to the studio, you will not be allowed to participate in class and you will not be refunded.
*Please refrain from doing any movement or material that is not being covered in the current class you are attending.
*Instruction is for The Brass Ring instructors only. We encourage you to be helpful and make friends during class, but no student instruction.
*Please wait for a spot from an instructor with any and all movement that you are not 100% comfortable with on your own.
*Please leave your street shoes by the front door when you arrive.
*Please make sure you have all of your personal belongings with you when you leave. We can not guarantee the safety of your belongings. We have a lost and found. It is donated every 3 months. Please check the lost and found if you have left something behind.
*You must participate in the class you are attending. Breaks are permitted as needed, if there is something bothering you please let the instructor know immediately, being on your phone and watching without participating for the majority of class is not permitted.
*Persons that are not attending and participating in class are not allowed to watch class.
